Solar energy became the talk of the new
millennium. It is because it provides people with lots of benefits. I am
talking about the various kinds of benefits that it offers which have brought
convenience to the people who live in today’s modernized society. With all the
advantage that it has brought to us such as serving as one of the best solution
for the current energy shortage that the world is facing right now, we still
can’t deny the fact that some of our fellow people tend to have doubts about
its negative effects on the environment.
This
new development is an environment friendly source of power. It is environment
friendly compare to other forms or other sources of electricity. Do you want to
know why? It is because compare to the other sources of electric power, it
produces zero percent carbon emissions or the so called greenhouse effect which
is known to be one of the most destructive force on the ecosystem and its
biodiversity. It also does not produce toxic waste. It doesn’t even burn oil.
In fact, the only factor that causes pollution is during the installation and
construction of its parts only and in terms of its transport. This just serves
as a proof that solar energy is the cleanest form of electricity.
We
are so lucky to have this kind of new development because without it, we may
experience insufficient electricity in the future and I am very sure that
nobody wants that to happen. As we all know, in today’s era, one of the factors
that contribute to our existence is by using electricity. I am not telling you
that electricity is all that we need in order to live. What I wanted to imply
to you is that, electricity is already a part of our lifestyle today. This may
not be the best solution for the power shortage that the earth is facing but it
is considered to be the nearest to the best solution we can ever imagine. And
as far as the sun is still shining up upon us, we will not have to worry about
running out of electricity since the sun is known to be its source of power.
